According to a new report released by UCLA, fish oil is linked to brain health. The study found that a diet lacking omega-3 fatty acids may cause the brain to age faster. Researchers conducted MRI scans of the brain in about 1,600 people and found that people with low levels of omega-3 fatty acids had brains with less volume compared with people who had higher levels of the same fatty acids.

"The American Heart Association recommends a daily dose about 500 milligrams [of fish oil] a day, which over a week adds up to the same two servings of fish," NBC's Dr. Nancy Snyderman said. "I think this one is, as we say, sort of a no-brainer."

Esmond Natural's fish oil has been purified to eliminate mercury.
